A metaphysical analysis of Time and Eternity, and an attempt to indicate how anadequate conception of the eternal existence of the Real provides a basis for the deduction of Time as an essential feature within it. The clue being derived from Spinoza, the book constitutes also a speculative and critical exposition of Spinozistic philosophy as a doctrine of real finite individuation and divine transcendence. Relevant theories, principles, and obscurities are discussed, and the central thesis is related to outstanding philosophical antitheses,and to certain prominent modern speculations.
