The Analytical Greek Lexicon Revised

Originally published in 1852, this work has become a standard tool for students of the New Testament. In addition to the ordinary contents of a Greek-English lexicon, with meanings classified according to their derivation, its distinguishing feature is, that every word of the New Testament, exactlyas it stands in the original text, is given in alphabetical order, with a complete grammatical analysis of each entry and an indication of its root.
To enhance the criticai value of the work, variant readings, with the authorities supporting them, are incorporated in their respective places. A short concordance is provided with the references listed at the bottom of each page; and an extensive grammatical introduction, complete with verb and noun charts plus explanatory remarks, is included.
Inevitably, in a work of such detail, misprints have been discovered. Although these have not greatly affected the importance or use of the work, they have now been corrected in the revised edition. Taking into account recent scholarship, editor Harold K. Moulton has also added a supplement, listing words omitted in the original edition.
